This page explains how you can delete your account and your data in the Car Maintenance & Reminder log app, what data is deleted, and what (if anything) is kept.


How to Delete Your Account and Data (In-App)


You can delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app at any time:


Open the Car Maintenance & Reminder log app.

Go to the Profile tab.

Tap Delete Account.

Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account and its associated data are permanently removed.


How to Request Deletion by Email


If you are unable to access the app, you can request account and data deletion by email:

Subject: Delete My Account

Please send the request from the email address linked to your account so we can verify and process it.

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days.


What Data Is Deleted


When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted:


Account information (email address, display name, and user ID from Google Firebase Authentication)

Vehicle information (make and model, registration number, odometer readings)

Service and maintenance history, reminders, costs, and notes

App preferences and settings stored with your account

Vehicle and maintenance data stored only on your device is also removed when you delete the app or clear its data.


What Data Is Kept


We do not keep your personal data after deletion, except where we are legally required to retain certain records. Anonymous, aggregated information that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and app-improvement purposes.


Advertising Data


The app uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. Advertising identifiers are managed by Google. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.
