Account Information

If you create an account, we use Google Firebase Authentication to securely manage your sign-in. This may include your email address, display name (if available), and a unique user ID.

If you continue as a guest, an anonymous account is created without collecting your personal information.

Vehicle Information

The app allows you to store information about your vehicles, including:

Vehicle make and model

Registration number

Odometer readings

Service history

Maintenance reminders

Costs and notes

This information is stored on your device. If cloud backup or synchronization is enabled in future versions, your data may also be securely stored with your account.

Advertising Information

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and approximate location (based on your IP address) to display and measure advertisements.

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account

Save your vehicle and maintenance records

Send service reminder notifications

Display advertisements

Respond to customer support requests

Notifications

With your permission, the app sends reminder notifications for upcoming vehicle services.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

We only share information with trusted service providers that help operate the app.

Google Firebase (Authentication and future cloud storage)

We never sell your personal information.

Data Retention

Your account information is kept while your account remains active.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from:

You may also request deletion by emailing us.

We use security features provided by Google Firebase to protect your information. Although we take reasonable steps to keep your data secure, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

Car Service + Alert is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
